- IT Administrator Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and committed IT Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and related hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, security, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless IT operations and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain computer networks and related IT infrastructure, including hardware, systems software, and applications. Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups as needed. Implement and monitor network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve network and system issues efficiently. Assign and manage network addresses (IP allocation) and user permissions. Work closely with vendors to resolve hardware/software issues and negotiate service agreements. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams and reports. Required Qualifications & Skills: 0-2 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role. CCNA or CCNP certification is required. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, network infrastructure, and security principles. Experience with firewall configuration, VLANs, VPNs, and access control. Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and Microsoft Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016). Familiarity with network monitoring tools and scripting languages.
