Position: Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO) for Indira University (Proposed) Location: Pune We are seeking a dynamic Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO) for Indira University (Proposed) to lead its IT strategy, digital transformation, data governance, and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of technology across academic and administrative functions. Qualifications & Experience Education: Masters degree / Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in Cybersecurity, Data Science, AI, Cloud Computing, or IT Governance are a plus. Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT leadership, preferably in higher education, EdTech, or research-driven organizations. Proven track record in digital transformation, ERP implementation, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management. Strong experience in technology-driven learning solutions and data governance. Skills & Competencies: Visionary leadership with expertise in academic technology trends. Strong understanding of cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT solutions. Excellent data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of UGC, NAAC, AICTE, and other higher education regulations. Key Responsibilities IT Strategy & Digital Transformation Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the universitys vision and academic goals. Spearhead digital transformation initiatives, integrating smart campus solutions, AI-driven learning platforms, and cloud-based services. Ensure seamless connectivity, digital infrastructure, and tech-enabled classrooms for a superior student and faculty experience. IT Infrastructure & Information Systems Management Establish and oversee a scalable, secure, and high-performance IT infrastructure for academic and administrative functions. Implement and maintain ERP, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Student Information Systems (SIS). Optimize technical resources (hardware, software, staffing) to meet short-term and long-term institutional needs. Cybersecurity, Data Governance & Compliance Implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive student, faculty, and institutional data. Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulatory requirements (UGC, NAAC, AICTE, etc.). Develop data analytics frameworks to provide insights for student performance, faculty productivity, and institutional decision-making. IT Operations & Service Delivery Define and oversee timelines for technology implementation and deployment across university functions. Manage IT budgets and technology investments to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal resource utilization. Implement AI-powered analytics and automation tools to improve efficiency and service delivery. Academic Technology & Faculty Support Support faculty in integrating technology-enhanced learning and EdTech solutions into curricula. Lead faculty development programs on digital pedagogy and smart teaching tools. Implement adaptive learning technologies for personalized student learning experiences. Leadership & Team Development Build and lead a high-performing IT team. Act as a mentor and guide for faculty, students, and research teams on leveraging technology. Develop IT governance policies for ethical AI usage, cybersecurity, and academic technology integration.,
