Job Description
- Position: Chief Projects Officer (WEL) Location: Mumbai Role Overview: Chief Projects Officer (CPO) will lead green field and brown field projects across ingot-wafer-cell-module value chain, cell-battery, hydrogen, supply chain security projects, major revamps/refurbishment. The candidate will manage multiple critical high value high growth projects (7-10 projects) simultaneously. The role requires strong analytical and technical skills, along with well-thought-out strategic decision-making along with ability to travel on ground and expedite project delivery whenever possible. This role offers an opportunity to lead transformative projects in the renewable energy sector and make a lasting impact on our company's growth and sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Responsibility of Project ( Concept to Commissioning to Handover) within defined timelines, budget and quality Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects across manufacturing and expansion initiatives. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables as per business goals. Implement project management frameworks to drive efficiency, quality, and on-time completion. Ensure meeting technical and regulatory compliance. Control long-term project planning and resource allocation. Develop risk management strategies to mitigate project risks effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Present project progress, risks, and outcomes to the leadership team. Qualifications & Experience Engineer (B.Tech./BE) Additionally MBA degree with PMP certification would be preferred Minimum 20 years of rich and diverse Project management experience. Strong Experience in value engineering and project interface management/optimization. Should have at least delivered $1 bn project (concept to commissioning) in (last 5-7 years) in manufacturing/clean energy/energy space on non-turnkey basis (i.e. worked with large number of contractors/vendors/suppliers as opposed to single turnkey contractor) Experience of managing multiple project sites/locations would be preferred,
