Job Description
- Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience in software development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, APIs, REST services, and PostgreSQL, along with exposure to front-end technologies like Angular and additional tools like RabbitMQ, Camunda, and Couchbase. Cloud experience with AWS is an added advantage. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners across global locations, so strong communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot. Design and implement RESTful APIs to support application functionality. Work with PostgreSQL for data management, ensuring optimal performance and security. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs into client-facing applications (knowledge of Angular is beneficial). Work with messaging systems like RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing. Leverage Camunda for workflow and process automation, if required. Manage and optimize Couchbase database solutions. Collaborate with cloud teams to deploy and manage applications on AWS (experience with S3, RDS, API Gateway, EC2, ECS is a plus). Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices in development. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high system reliability. Engage with global teams and external partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment across time zones. Required Skills: Core Java Strong expertise in backend development. Spring Boot Experience in building microservices-based applications. REST Services & API Development Ability to design, develop, and secure APIs. PostgreSQL Strong database skills, including queries, optimization, and schema design. Angular (basic understanding for collaboration with front-end teams). Additional/Preferred Skills: RabbitMQ Experience with message brokers for asynchronous processes. Camunda Exposure to workflow/process automation. Couchbase NoSQL database experience. AWS Cloud Familiarity with services like S3, RDS, API Gateway, EC2, ECS. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across global teams and with external partners.,
