- Company Description Adaayafarm is a company that specializes in the manufacturing and exporting of compostable Areca Palm Leaf Tableware. We aim to create sustainable and eco-friendly products to promote a balanced plant-based future. Our company has won the prestigious ThinkBig Awards in Nov 2016 organized by International Women Entrepreneurs Federation called Weconnect International. We sell our products in 31 countries. Job Overview: We are looking for a highly energetic and experienced individual to take full responsibility for factory operations. As the Factory Head, you will ensure smooth and efficient production, manage factory resources, coordinate with local vendors for raw materials, and lead the manufacturing team. You will also be expected to handle design-related tasks, ensure data accuracy using Excel/Google Sheets, and possess strong mathematical and analytical skills. Proficiency in Kannada is essential for effective communication with the local workforce and vendors. Key Responsibilities: Factory Operations Management: Oversee all production activities to ensure smooth and efficient factory operations. Maintain compliance with manufacturing legal/statutory regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO certification. Develop and implement strategies for achieving production targets and optimizing operational efficiency. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor the manufacturing team to achieve high performance and efficiency. Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability and conducting performance appraisals. Vendor and Raw Material Management: Coordinate with local vendors to procure high-quality raw materials (Areca palm leaves) at the best rates. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply chains. Data Analysis and Reporting: Use advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills to manage production data, analyze trends, and prepare reports. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success. Design and Innovation: Utilize design software to contribute to mold and product designs, ensuring alignment with production goals. Work on optimizing production processes to improve productivity and quality. Communication and Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for cross-departmental communication, including procurement, stores, audit, accounts, and HR. Ensure smooth interaction and cooperation among all stakeholders, including customers and suppliers. General Responsibilities: Manage factory budgets responsibly, ensuring adherence to financial goals. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all operational activities. Set an example for the team through strong work ethics, professional expertise, and personal integrity. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of experience in production/operations management. Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or Solid works Fluency in Kannada (mandatory). Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to dynamic operational requirements. Energetic, proactive, and goal-oriented personality. Key requirements for the role include: Fluency in Kannada is compulsory for effective communication with the team and local workforce. The working location is Shivmogga, Machenahalli Industrial Estate. We offer a competitive salary in the range of 1,00,000 to 1,25,000 per month, depending on your experience and performance during the interview process.,
