Job Description
KRAs/Responsibilities :
- Responsible for guiding the IT department in best approaches to Data Warehouse development in-house
- Having past experience in creation of a Data Warehouse from scratch
- Having knowledge of existing and emerging technologies related to big data and handling unstructured data
- Having exposure working on BI Dashboards, ETL and Data marts designs for any solution delivery impacting the Business Intelligence space.
- Responsible for independently leading best practice ETL and Data Warehouse design efforts to continually improve solution delivery.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop quality technical solutions to support the required business intelligence solution.
- Responsible for staying on top of rapid technical changes in this field; is able to lead new technology introduction projects, migrate legacy BI technologies to newer platforms, and recommend go forward technical platforms.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence Tools, SQL And No-SQL databases
- Exposure to Big Data related projects (wherein involvement has been there from project initiation phase)
- Demonstrated experience both maintaining and enhancing existing BI & ETL solutions, but mainly in creating new solutions from scratch
- Demonstrated experience with understanding business operations; candidate must be prepared to detail past successful BI, ETL assignments and projects demonstrating their leadership and independence in solving the target business problem(s).
- Understanding of BI Tools like Power BI, QLIK, Pentaho, Oracle.
- Demonstrated knowledge of analysing business processes and transactional data systems
- Minimum 15-20 years experience in data warehousing projects and big data.
