Job Description
- Patient Care: Assess patients' medical conditions by performing detailed physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and reviewing medical histories. Provide accurate diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Treatment & Management: Prescribe medications, therapies, and medical interventions as appropriate. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and provide ongoing care.
- Medical Procedures: Perform necessary medical procedures and surgeries within your specialty. Ensure that procedures are carried out safely and effectively.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle changes that can improve health outcomes.
- Medical Records & Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations. Document patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and other physicians, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Emergency Response: Provide emergency care as needed, manage critical situations, and coordinate with emergency medical teams when necessary.
- Follow-up Care: Monitor and follow up with patients after treatment or procedures to ensure recovery, prevent complications, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Quality & Compliance: Adhere to medical ethics, regulatory standards, and hospital policies. Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines and maintain high standards of care.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest medical research, treatments, technologies, and best practices. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
