- Job Title: QA Manual Lead (Guidewire) Experience: 10+ Years Job Description: We are seeking a Manual QA Lead with expertise in Guidewire testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in testing Guidewire applications and leading manual QA efforts for insurance applications. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the team in test planning, execution, and defect management, while ensuring the quality of the Guidewire platform. Responsibilities Lead and manage manual QA testing activities for Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product Management, and Business Analysts) to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards. Create, review, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing. Coordinate defect management, track testing progress, and ensure timely reporting of test results. Oversee test execution and provide leadership and support to junior QA team members. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work closely with the development team to drive resolutions. Ensure proper documentation of test results, issues, and improvements. Provide input for continuous process improvements and best practices within the QA process. Requirements Strong experience in Manual QA Testing with a focus on Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter). Proven leadership experience in managing manual QA teams. Expertise in creating and executing test cases, reporting defects, and managing the overall test lifecycle. Familiarity with Guidewire integration, configurations, and customization testing. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and tools. Knowledge of the insurance domain is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with distributed teams and effectively collaborate across time zones. Nice To Have Guidewire certification (e.g., Guidewire ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter certification). Experience with automation testing tools and techniques. Familiarity with agile methodologies.
