Job responsibilities About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on AWS Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing cloud engineering team. This role requires deep expertise in AWS architecture, security best practices, and software development while also driving cloud migration projects and optimizing cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture & Development Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications and services on AWS. AWS Security & Compliance Ensure best security practices, IAM policies, and compliance measures are followed. Cloud Migration Leadership Strategize and execute large-scale migrations from on-prem or other cloud providers to AWS. Team Leadership & Mentorship Guide a team of cloud engineers, fostering innovation and best practices. Automation & Optimization Drive automation (IaC, CI/CD) and cost-efficient cloud solutions. Stakeholder Collaboration Work with product, security, and infrastructure teams to align cloud strategies with business goals. Must-Have Skills: AWS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.). Software Development: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for cloud-based applications. Cloud Security: Experience with IAM, KMS, security groups, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001). Cloud Migration: Proven experience leading cloud migration projects. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK. CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, etc. Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, ELK, or Datadog.
