- About the Company: We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join Uppteam. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) using software like Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools. The role involves working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop accurate 3D models, detect clashes, and support project coordination. About the Role: Develop and maintain BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) disciplines. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate design representation. Conduct clash detection and coordination using tools like Navisworks, BIM 360, or Solibri. Generate 2D drawings and 3D visualizations from BIM models for presentations and documentation. Support project teams in BIM coordination meetings, addressing technical issues and model updates. Integrate BIM with other construction technologies such as GIS, drones, and digital twin solutions. Stay updated on BIM advancements and provide training to junior modelers if required. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) disciplines. Generate 2D drawings and 3D visualizations from BIM models for presentations and documentation. Maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistency across projects. Assist in model-based quantity take-offs and cost estimation. Support project teams in BIM coordination meetings, addressing technical issues and model updates. Integrate BIM with other construction technologies such as GIS, drones, and digital twin solutions. Stay updated on BIM advancements and provide training to junior modelers if required. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Required Skills: Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, etc.). Knowledge of BIM coordination, clash detection, and model validation. Experience with BIM collaboration platforms (BIM 360, Trimble Connect, etc.). Understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and project documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Experience with LOD (Level of Development) and BIM Execution Plans (BEP) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Certification in Autodesk Revit or other BIM-related courses. Experience in 4D/5D BIM (schedule and cost integration). Familiarity with Dynamo, Python, or scripting for BIM automation. Knowledge of VR/AR applications in BIM is an advantage.
