Job Description

Major KRAs: 

• Lead EXIM operations of a 100% export-oriented organization based out of SEZ. 
• Manage import and export operations, adherence and compliance to custom laws, notifications, tariffs, EXIM policy and procedures and SEZ Act & Rules.
   
• Documentation for imports, ensure compliance on transactions as per SEZ Act & rules. 
• Organize import and export clearance including liasoning with clearing agent and freight forwarders. 
• Negotiation and coordination with freight forwarders.
• Co-ordination with global logistics team. 

Incumbent Profile: 

• Over 10+ years of experience in document validation, handling commercial and customs compliance related cases for Imports, Exports and SEZ operations. 
• Well versed with shipping line, vessel operations, vessel manning and port operations. 
• Conversant with DTA (Domestic Tariff Area) sales process. 
• Worked in an industry with high transactions shipments. 
• Managed complex and time bound shipment activities.
