Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Cost Optimization team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the infrastructure supporting our Golang-based applications in a cloud environment, primarily using AWS. This role involves ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure, working closely with our development team to support our continuous delivery pipeline and cloud operations. What You'll Do Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS to support Golang-based applications. Collaborate with the development team to understand application requirements and ensure seamless integration with the infrastructure. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Terraform. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices, applying them to enhance our infrastructure. You'll Be Expected To Have Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services. Proficiency in managing and deploying Golang-based applications. Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Solid understanding of networking, security, and database management in a cloud environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
