The Room Division Manager is responsible for overseeing the effective management of the hotel's front office and housekeeping operations. The role ensures the highest standards of guest service are met while managing the performance, efficiency, and productivity of both departments. This individual will lead a team, implement operational strategies, and maintain a positive, proactive environment that fosters excellence across the Rooms Division. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Supervise, lead, and motivate the Front Office and Housekeeping teams, ensuring they deliver exceptional service to guests. Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, department performance, and overall hotel efficiency. Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring cost control and profitability. Front Office Management: Oversee all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, guest inquiries, and concierge services. Implement and monitor front office procedures to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures, while maximizing occupancy rates. Maintain effective communication between front office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Housekeeping Management: Supervise the housekeeping department to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. Develop housekeeping schedules, manage staffing, and oversee inventory control for cleaning supplies and linen. Implement quality standards for room cleanliness and guest amenities, ensuring consistency in guest satisfaction. Operational Efficiency: Monitor and analyze room occupancy levels, guest feedback, and operational metrics to ensure both departments are meeting performance targets. Oversee the room inventory and room assignment process to optimize occupancy and revenue. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., F&B, Sales, Maintenance) to ensure guest needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Guest Experience: Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining guest satisfaction. Ensure that all guest requests are handled with priority and that personalized guest services are consistently delivered. Training & Development: Implement training programs to enhance employee skills, departmental knowledge, and service quality. Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and guidance for career development. Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in both departments. Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
