1.Accountabilities:
Functional Responsibilities:
Supports Tax and treasury Manager in ensuring 100% tax compliance (direct and indirect), service delivery and adherence to all Key Control Activities.
Responsible for maintaining all the information/ documents required for tax assessments
Supports in GST returns and related compliances
Supports in month close activities related to tax and treasury
Supports for all treasury related and banking needs including the local banking compliance
Extract various reports from financial accounting ERP and perform analysis
2.Key Skills/Experience Required:
Qualified / Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant/ Professional degree with 2 3 years of experience in handling corporate income tax and / or indirect tax compliances.
Good working knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Office is essential.
Ability to research and understand principles of corporate income tax and GST tax laws
Financial Statement Acumen: Applies basic understanding of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
Controls, Compliance & Risk: Executes basic internal control procedures with regularity and proficiency
3.Differentiating Competencies Required:
Essential:
Strong interpersonal ,written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Compliance and controls experience
Ability to schedule and successfully manage multiple priorities
Able to work under pressure, juggling short deadlines, multiple priorities, and concern for maintaining standards.
Ability to Understand and follow all compliance policies, laws, regulations
