Job Description
The communications industry is quickly moving towards intelligent networks, virtualized network functions, and Cloud deployments as Software as a Service (SaaS). We are looking for innovative software engineers who have the passion and vision to transform the telecommunications industry.The Oracle India IDC team will be working closely with R&D teams across different NA centers, Product management, Professional services, Global customer support, and other Oracle applications groups (e.g. Oracle Fusion Middleware) located in global locations.As a member of the software engineering division, you will define and develop software using tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications as well as providing technical leadership to other software developers. You will also assist in specifying, designing and implementing modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.Job Requirements:
- Ability to fluently communicate with Engineering Leaders, stakeholders, peers and developers
- Designing and implementing large-scale productized solutions
- Experience working with complex global organizations with proven effectiveness spanning multiple business units
- Promote state of the art methods, tools and process
- Drive end-to-end technical approach
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer demos and presentations
- Work with project stakeholders on list of potential activities and solutions
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
- Stay abreast of on new technologies/ technical areas
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree (B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech./M.S.) from reputed universities
- 5-8 years of experience in delivering Cloud Applications using cloud technologies
- Quality design experience of enterprise software with emphasis on scalability, performance, high availability
- Good knowledge in Java, REST, JSON, Javascript, CSS3, HTML5
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and J2EE applications
- Experience with cloud applications using technologies such as Springboot, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, git, Kubernetes, CI/CD will be a plus.
- Experience with OSS/ NMS system development project.
- Working knowledge of Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure
Additional Skills:
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and prioritization skills.
- Should be able to solve complex technical design challenges and write technical designs with focus on Quality, Usability and Performance
- Manages multiple tasks and priorities, Has Passion for learning and a gogetter.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good Knowledge of the software development life cycle and methodology.
- Experience in Agile delivery model.
