Job Description

Develop, optimize, and maintain backend systems using Node.js and related technologies.

Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.

Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data consistency.

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, JWT, or session-based authentication.

Optimize backend applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following best practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to improve system performance and user experience.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and work with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development.

5-9 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js.

Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.

Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming concepts.

Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of security best practices, authentication protocols, and data protection strategies.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Streams.

Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions, etc.).

Exposure to automated testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.

Prior experience working in an agile development environment.
