Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with 3+ year of experience, specializing in WordPress and Shopify platforms. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing websites built on WordPress and Shopify. You will work closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to create high-performance websites that offer seamless user experiences and reflect the brand's objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify platforms. Create and modify WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify templates to meet specific business needs. Ensure websites are responsive, optimized for performance, and SEO-friendly. Manage the integration of third-party apps, plugins, and APIs for added website functionality. experience on Shopify. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to websites, including bugs, performance, or functionality. Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure the websites align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience. Migrate websites from Shopify 1.0 to 2.0, ensuring all content and features work seamlessly. Regularly update WordPress and Shopify environments and manage backups for security. Optimize product listings, collections, and overall e-commerce functionality on Shopify. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience in developing websites on both WordPress and Shopify platforms. Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development and customization. Experience with Shopify template editing using Shopify Liquid, product management, and theme customization. and optimizing product listings. Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization. Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
