Job Description

    Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to lead our business growth efforts in the Masterbatches, Chemicals, and Polymers sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, polymers, and a proven track record of managing sales and marketing strategies in both domestic and international markets. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in masterbatches, chemicals, and polymers. Identify opportunities in both domestic and international markets, creating tailored strategies for each region. Market Expansion: Lead market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and customers in targeted regions. Team Management: Oversee and mentor the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Set performance metrics and provide regular feedback to drive team productivity and success. Operational Excellence: Utilize SAP or similar ERP systems to streamline sales and marketing operations. Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of sales performance. Product Expertise and Customer Engagement: Leverage in-depth knowledge of polymers, chemicals, and masterbatches to offer technical insights and solutions to customers. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility. Qualifications: Educational Background: Graduate / Post-Graduate (B.Sc.,/M.Sc./M.Tech.) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is mandatory. MBA or PGDM is an added advantage . Experience: Minimum of 17-24 years of experience in sales and marketing within the chemicals, masterbatches, or polymers industry. Proven track record of success in managing domestic and international markets. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ERP systems. Expertise in the technical aspects of polymers, chemicals, and their applications. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
