Job Description
- We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with experience in residential technology solutions. As a Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of technology solutions for residential spaces, providing consultations to clients, and ensuring smooth project execution. Responsibilities: Installation of technology solutions for residential clients, including but not limited to smart home devices, audiovisual systems, and networking equipment. Conduct presentations to clients regarding our company's residential technology offerings, explaining the benefits and functionalities of various solutions. Organize and lead progress meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to track project milestones and address any issues or concerns. Travel to client locations as needed to oversee installations, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop marketing materials and strategies for promoting residential technology solutions. Create and maintain documentation, including project plans, installation guides, and user manuals, to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in residential technology, attending relevant training sessions and conferences as necessary. Provide training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of installed technology solutions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering or related. Previous experience in a technical role, preferably with a focus on residential technology solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
