This role is for one of the Weekday's clients



We are looking for an experienced SDET2 (Software Development Engineer in Test) to design, develop, and implement robust test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, with expertise in Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and Appium. This role requires strong programming skills, deep knowledge of test automation best practices, and experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Write and execute automated test cases using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and Appium (iOS & Android).
• Perform API testing using tools like RestAssured, ensuring comprehensive backend validation.
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to validate data integrity in automated tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless deployment.
• Collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to enhance test coverage and quality assurance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Strong expertise in Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing custom test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Java for test automation.
• Expertise in API testing using RestAssured.
• Experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for database validation.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests using Jenkins.
