Project Management Leadership: Oversee and manage complex observability projects, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategies.

Observability Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement observability solutions, integrating logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting frameworks to enhance system reliability and performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, DevOps, SRE, and product teams to define observability goals, deliver high-impact solutions, and improve overall system visibility.

Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify potential risks, mitigate issues, and ensure proactive monitoring strategies are in place to prevent system failures or performance degradation.

Process Optimization: Establish best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting, leveraging industry-leading observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry.

Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines efficiently, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value-driven implementation.

KPI & Metrics Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for observability initiatives and regularly assess the effectiveness of monitoring solutions.

Compliance & Governance: Ensure observability solutions comply with industry regulations, security protocols, and internal governance policies.

Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by staying updated with the latest observability trends, tools, and technologies.

Project Management Expertise: 10-18 years of experience in project management, preferably in observability, monitoring, or infrastructure projects.

Observability Tools & Technologies: Hands-on experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, or similar platforms.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and DevOps methodologies.

Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and effectively communicate technical and business objectives.

Agile & Scrum: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and DevOps culture to accelerate project execution.

Risk & Incident Management: Expertise in risk assessment, incident management, and root cause analysis for system reliability and performance improvements.

Certification (Preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, ITIL, or relevant observability-related certifications.
