Job Description
- A Mobile App Architect is responsible for designing and leading the development of scalable, high-performance, and secure mobile applications for both Android & iOS. This role requires expertise in native, hybrid, and cross-platform technologies, ensuring best practices in architecture, security, and performance. Key Skills & Expertise: 1. Mobile App Development Expertise Android & iOS Native Development Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java (Android), and Swift, Objective-C (iOS) Cross-Platform Development Experience with Flutter, React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), or MAUI for scalable app solutions Mobile SDKs & Frameworks Deep knowledge of Jetpack (Android), SwiftUI & UIKit (iOS), and Compose (Android) Native Networking Experience in networking with a proven track record of building low-latency mobile applications 2. Architectural & System Design Architect shall have the below qualitative architectural and system design traits Expertise in MVVM, VIPER, MVI, and Clean Architecture for maintainable codebase Ability to design and implement multi-module architectures for both platforms Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and gRPC Architecting apps that can support millions of users across different devices 3. Security & Performance Optimization Authentication & Security Experience with OAuth, JWT, biometric authentication (FaceID, Fingerprint), and Secure Enclaves (iOS). Data Protection Implementation of end-to-end encryption, keychain storage (iOS), and Keystore (Android). Performance Optimization Expertise in reducing app size, memory leaks, optimizing startup time, and power consumption. Monitoring & Logging Implementing Crashlytics, Sentry, Firebase Performance Monitoring, and New Relic for real-time debugging 4. Leadership & Collaboration As this is a leadership role, the right fit would be someone who has a great track record of building teams with a business-driven mindset Ability to mentor developers, define best practices, and enforce coding standards Working closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams.
