- Job Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Website Designer with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in PHP frameworks and WordPress development. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites, custom themes, and plugins. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly, visually appealing, and high-performance websites that align with client or business goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Design & Development: Design and develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and PHP-based web applications. Convert UI/UX wireframes and mockups into functional, responsive websites. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and optimal performance. 2. WordPress Customization: Customize WordPress core functionalities, themes, and plugins to meet project requirements. 3. PHP Framework Expertise: Work with PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter to build scalable web solutions. Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following industry best practices. 4. Collaboration: Coordinate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure seamless project execution. Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and provide technical insights. 5. Maintenance & Optimization: Troubleshoot and debug website issues, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities. Conduct regular updates, backups, and security audits for WordPress sites. 6. SEO & Performance: Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and accessibility. Implement caching mechanisms, CDN integration, and image optimization Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills: 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress development (theme/plugin customization, Gutenberg, ACF). Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) and MySQL/MariaDB. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery), and Bootstrap. Experience with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and debugging tools (Xdebug). Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, Divi) and WordPress multisite setups. Design Skills: Expertise in responsive design principles and tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Understanding of UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Bonus Skills (Preferred): Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js). Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify).
