- Job Title: Senior IT Manager Experience: 5-8 years Industry: Healthcare/Hospital Salary: As per industry standards Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead and manage the complete IT operations within our hospital. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hospital management software development, IT infrastructure management, and ensuring seamless technology integration across all hospital departments. This is a leadership role that requires a proactive approach to managing IT systems, driving innovation, and aligning technology solutions with the hospital's operational and clinical needs. Key Responsibilities Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and regular updates of the Hospital Management System (HMS) and other critical software. Collaborate with software vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot, resolve, and enhance system functionality. Manage data extraction, analysis, and reporting to support hospital administration, clinical teams, and regulatory requirements. Lead the IT team in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, timely issue resolution, and proactive system monitoring. Provide strategic recommendations for IT infrastructure enhancements, including hardware, networks, cybersecurity, and software development. Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations (such as HIPAA or local healthcare IT standards). Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and patient care. Required Skills & Qualifications 5 to 8 years of proven experience in IT management, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide the IT team. Hands-on experience with hospital management software (HMS) and healthcare IT solutions. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle technical and operational challenges effectively. Strong knowledge of database management, networking, cybersecurity, and system integration. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, administrators, and external vendors. Preferred Qualifications Certification in healthcare IT or project management (such as CHCIO, PMP, etc.) is a plus. Experience in software development or customization related to hospital operations will be an advantage. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards related to healthcare data management.
