Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and defect tracking systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of web and mobile applications by designing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and implementing automated test scripts. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and API testing. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello. Ensure the scalability, usability, and reliability of applications through rigorous testing. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. Implement CI/CD testing pipelines to enhance the automation process. Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed reports to the development team. Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual & Automation). Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle. Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or Katalon Studio. Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured. Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Redmine. Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation. Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus. Good to Have: Experience in security testing and knowledge of OWASP guidelines. Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, or LambdaTest. Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.,
