Job Description
- We are looking for a Sr. Android Lead who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. You will collaborate as part of a team of developers to work on creating and maintaining Android apps. As a Sr. Android Lead, you will need to be familiar with the Android ecosystem and mobile app development, including familiarity with popular app frameworks and software development best practices. Your duties will include maintaining existing codebases, including bug fixing, and creating apps from scratch as part of a team while following all coding guidelines and industry best practices. Roles And Responsibilities Strong knowledge of Android UI design (using Constraint Layout and Material design is a plus). Strong knowledge of XMPP, VOIP, Web RTC, and Open Source application/library. Strong knowledge of Android SDK/ NDK and common APIs like Location, Storage, Google Maps, Media, Network, FCM Push notification, Job Scheduler, and Background Services. Strong knowledge of JSON parsing, Web Services Retrofit and RxJava2.0, Database in SQLite with ORM (green DAO, Room), and Realm. Have good knowledge of the language, Java (Kotlin is a plus), Code Injector Dagger2/HILT, and Unit Testing is Plus. Should have Knowledge of apps Hosting on Play Store & Crashlytics. Solid understanding of common programming tools and paradigms, such as version control, use of frameworks, and common design patterns. Comfortable working as part of a cross-functional team and with code written by others, including bug fixing, and refactoring legacy code. Familiarity with mobile applications and development, including the use of hardware such as accelerometers, cameras, and gyroscopes. Job Requirements 5 years experienced professional. Good communication skills Excellent knowledge of the Java programming language. Strong understanding of XML layouts, JSON data parsing, and multithreading concepts. Proficiency in working with Android Studio IDE and familiarity with other development tools like Gradle build system. Bachelors degree from a reputed institution (preferably).
