Job Description

    Skills: Chemical Engineering, Team Leadership, Continuous Improvement, Safety Management, Naptha Cracker, Olefins, Operations, Job Accountablities Ensure compliance to HSEF policies and standards Comply with statutory regulations Ensure Process Safety Management in Plant Develop credible scenarios for loss of containment & mitigation Establish Production budget in conjunction with business Set operating envelope for plant in consultation with CES/CTS Planning and resource allocation for achieving production targets Create, assign, execute and follow-up operations task list. Ensure minimum off-spec days Ensure supply of quality product to customer Leads inter disciplinary team (CES / CTS / Plant) to improve asset integrity. Leads safe implementation of new initiatives / turnarounds / revamps Monitor and control cost of production Implement PIO's Facilitate learning, skill development of subordinate Communicate IMS objectives to plant team. Communicate instructions through plant rack-up, review meetings, and provide direction to shift staff and deputies Contribute to CSR activity at site Combined LTIFR (including fatalities) (No.) Fire, leak and spillage incidents which lead to injury and/or production loss (%) Reduction in Effluent generation over previous year (%) Compliance with safety audit / incidents / near miss recommendations Increase in Total Production Volume over previous year Maintain product quality, Minimize down gradation (%) Reduction in Customer complaints (Manufacturing) over the previous year (%) Improvement in internal CSI over previous year (%) Plant availability index improvement (Planned On-Stream Hrs. - Unplanned Downtime) / Planned On-Stream Hrs. Reduction in repetitive failures Ratio of New Grades/products developed to that demanded by Market Ratio of Cost (Material cost + Services cost + Direct labour cost) to ERV Ratio of Inventory to ERV (Includes Insurance spares and excludes Obsolete, Surplus) Achievement of Capital productivity level (Ratio of Actual Financial benefits to Actual expenditure) including CAPEX expenditure Increase in Contribution (due to volume & efficiency improvement) over previous year Facilitate learning, skill development of subordinate and assure competence Promote Employee involvement in Best Practices (QCC, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.) Fulfilment of identified training needs for self. Review and approve SOP / SOC. Skill & Competencies Problem solving and analytical ability People management skills Planning and decision making skills Good communication skills Team work and leadership skills Good technical skills Education B.E./ B. Tech (Chemical) with good and consistent academic records,
