Job Description
The program manager is responsible for effective Coordination of the program's projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising.
It also includes the coordination of the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realization of projected benefits
In most cases, the program manager will work full-time on the program. The role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum. A good understanding of how to apply the Managing Successful programs method is a key attribute.
The program manager is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the program. They will develop and maintain the program environment to support each individual project within it - often through an effective program management office.
Roles & Responsibility :
- You love making customers happy and you get a buzz from hearing customers talk about what you have built
- You work with a structured approach, and are skilled at balancing between short-term needs and long-term investments
- You are proficient in quantitative analyses, influencing with data (e.g., funnel, cohorts, benchmarks), building business cases, and communicating data-driven insights to analytical and non-analytical audiences
- You are of high integrity and have a clear and visible set values
- Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
- Ensuring effective quality assurance and overall integrity of the program - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the program, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programs and corporate, technical and specialist standards managing the program's budget, monitoring expenditures and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the program progresses
- managing third party contributions to the program
- Managing communications with all the stakeholders
- managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
- Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise
- Lead a team to deliver results and target in terms of volumes, quality, efficiency
- Learning and working with various types of software for Data Management
- Working closely with sales and marketing department.
- Providing administrative support to the marketing and sales team.
- Understanding company product and brand.
- Creating and interpreting a variety of reports.
- Analyzing questionnaires and other forms of feedback.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication and Cross-functional skills
- The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs
- Sound business case development and approvals skills
- Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties
- Good knowledge of program and project management methods budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel .
- Good organization skills.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills, with a clearly defined design point of view
- Portfolio of previous work required
- Project management skills including organising and managing multiple projects
