Job Description
- Job Title: Lead System Engineer Experience: 5+ Location: Pune Job Description: Manage and maintain Windows and Linux Operation Systems Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet Systems Troubleshoot problems reported by users, analysts and engineers Maintain existing software and hardware and provide suggestions on upgrading current infrastructure Monitor computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved Provide direct support for day-to-day operations on servers, storage, and networks Support troubleshooting on SAAS applications, including participating in incident response activities Coordinate with other Engineers, Support, and other stakeholders to provide technical solutions and improve overall technical health Maintain or improve overall security posture Improve resiliency, best practice standards, and efficiency for Gordian applications Maintain and create documentation for best practices Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud environments, including PaaS, networking, and other cloud resources Automate cloud deployments and operational tasks using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) Implement and manage security best practices within Azure, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security Stay current with Azure updates, new features, and best practices, and recommend improvements to our cloud strategy Qualifications Demonstrated understanding of industry best practices Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Active Directory Experience with Azure AD and Azure Cloud Services Experience with Ansible and other automation tools Extensive knowledge of public cloud environments (Azure preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong troubleshooting skills,
