Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to manage networking, computer installations, and security systems, including CCTV cameras. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT infrastructure setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Networking & IT Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Set up and manage wired and wireless networks. Ensure network security and data protection through proper configurations. Maintain network documentation and inventory of IT assets. 2. Computer Installation & Maintenance: Install and configure hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals). Set up operating systems, software, and necessary applications. Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security patches. Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues. Provide technical support to employees on IT-related issues. 3. Security Systems (CCTV & Surveillance): Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and security systems. Set up remote monitoring and storage solutions for surveillance footage. Diagnose and resolve issues related to camera functionality and connectivity. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. 4. General IT Support: Provide on-site and remote IT support for troubleshooting and problem resolution. Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and troubleshooting steps. Assist in IT procurement and vendor management. Support cybersecurity initiatives by implementing security protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT support, networking, and security system installation. Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs). Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Hands-on experience with CCTV installation and troubleshooting. Knowledge of firewall and security configurations. Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software/network issues. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Certifications (Optional but a Plus): CompTIA Network+ / CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or MCSA CCTV Installation & Security Systems Certification Job Type: Full-time Shift: Day shift Evening shift Fixed shift Morning shift Night shift Rotational shift Work Days: Monday to Friday Weekend availability Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 10/02/2025,
