- Role Summary As a Backend Developer, you will be integral to designing, implementing, and scaling the backend infrastructure of our product. Working closely with the product and frontend teams, youll help deliver a high-quality, secure, and reliable service that can handle large volumes of data and users. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Node.js or Java Spring Boot. Architect microservices and utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Implement and optimize real-time systems using WebSockets, pub/sub, and event-driven architectures. Design and maintain secure and scalable authentication systems (OAuth2, JWT). Work with NoSQL and relational databases, handling large datasets with efficiency. Collaborate on DevOps practices and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Optimize systems for high concurrency, performance tuning, and scalability. Ensure best practices in API design, error handling, logging, and debugging. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js or Java-Spring Boot. Proficient in building and managing microservices architectures. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Solid understanding of NoSQL and relational databases. Experience with real-time systems and event-driven architectures. Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and other secure authentication systems. Understanding of DevOps practices and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Expertise in high-performance systems, error handling, and debugging. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
