Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a WordPress & Shopify Developer located in Chennai. The Developer will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development, responsive web design, web design, and web development tasks. The role involves creating and maintaining websites for clients, ensuring they are user-friendly and visually appealing. Job Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain websites on both WordPress and Shopify platforms. Design and implement new features, functionalities, and enhancements for both WordPress and Shopify stores. Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs on both platforms. Integrate third-party plugins, apps, and APIs as needed. Conduct website performance tests and ensure site security. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and functionalities. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies for both WordPress and Shopify. Qualifications: 1 to 2 years of experience as a WordPress Developer and Shopify Developer. Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript). Strong knowledge of Liquid templating language for Shopify. Experience with theme customization and development for both platforms. Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WPBakery for WordPress. Familiarity with Shopify's API and app ecosystem. Understanding of SEO best practices. Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
