Job Description

Purpose of the Job Senior CAD Engineer is responsible for generation & maintenance of drawings & BoMs in solidworks, AutoCAD for valves product line. In this position, you will support product design team to meet our global growth targets. Areas of responsibility Senior CAD engineer is responsible for activities like Prepare part & assembly models using smart CAD tool practices (Solid & surface modelling) Perform tolerance stack up analysis. Provide drawing packages including manufacturing drawings, assemblies & GAD, and BOMs Interact with other design, supply chain & manufacturing engineering team members to meet product design requirements. Support ECN process using internal ECN tool. Basic Requirements of the Job Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other discipline with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience or Degree in Mechanical or any other discipline with 3 to 5 years of experience desired with relevant exposure to Valve, pump industry. Advanced solid / surface modelling certification in SolidWorks preferred. Experience with CAD customisation is preferred. Familiar with design tools SolidWorks and AutoCAD, PLM/EPDM packages, ASME/API/EN codes and standards. Comfortable with working in international company and speak/write professionally in good English.
