Job Description
- Designation: Design and Development Engineer Work Location: Chinchwad Division/Department: Design and Development Number of positions- 2 No Experience 6 to 7 Years Qualification - BE/ Diploma - electronics Shift - General Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, Development, Drawings, and Documentation Design of SMPS/Converter as per project requirements, including creating circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, connection schemes, and BOM generation. Conduct design calculations for MOSFET/IGBT selection and other power components (heatsinks, fuses, cables, busbars, switchgear, etc.). Perform cooling calculations and select necessary cooling components (forced air/water cooling). Create all project-related drawings and documents, such as wiring diagrams, BOM, job orders, instruction manuals, test formats, and QA plans. 2. Cross-Functional Coordination Provide support, guidance, and coordination with departments including Marketing, Production, FIT, Purchase, Stores, Vendors, Suppliers, and Consultants as required. 3. Process Compliance Ensure adherence to engineering processes, including Quality Management System (QMS) processes. 4. Site Visits Conduct site visits for surveys, installations, and technical discussions. 5. Design & Costing for Tenders and Inquiries Work on design and costing for various tenders, inquiries, and RFPs. 6. ERP System Utilization Work on the ERP system for generating BOMs and job cards. Skills Required: 1. Design Software Proficiency AutoCAD, Eplan for schematic and layout design 2. IT & Office Software Proficiency in Windows OS, MS office, Email, and other standard PC applications 3. Standards and Compliance Understanding of international and Indian standards relevant to power electronics products Ability to interpret standards and apply them to product development. Hands-on Experience: o High-power rectifier design (5KW and above) SMPS topologies, AC-DC and DC-DC converters Thermal calculations, filter design, IGBT/MOSFET driver selection Simulation tools for SMPS analysis EMI/EMC standards and mitigation techniques Control scheme design incorporating PLC/PC-based systems and SCADA Magnetic component design Interested candidates, please send your CV to: hidden_mobile.
