- POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Function: Service Delivery Location : Mumbai Position Title: Animation Intern Reporting To: Head of Service Delivery I) Position Summary Key Objective / Purpose of the Job: Create two-dimensional and three-dimensional images depicting objects in motion or illustrating a process, using computer animation or modelling programs Create computer-generated graphics or animation Design complex graphics and animation, using independent judgment, creativity, and computer equipment Make objects or characters appear lifelike by manipulating light, colour, texture, shadow, and transparency, or manipulating static images to give the illusion of motion Apply story development, directing, cinematography, and editing to animation to create storyboards that show the flow of the animation and map out key scenes and characters Prepare production storyboards Script, plan, and create animated narrative sequences under tight deadlines, using computer software and hand drawing techniques Draw detailed or technical illustrations. Create computer-generated graphics or animation. Develop artistic or design concepts for decoration, exhibition, or commercial Participate in design and production of multimedia campaigns, handling budgeting and scheduling, and assisting with such responsibilities as production coordination, background design, and progress Coordinate logistics for productions Implement and maintain configuration control systems. Assemble, typeset, scan and produce digital camera-ready art or film negatives and printer's proofs. Create basic designs, drawings, and illustrations for product labels, cartons, direct mail, or television Develop artistic or design concepts for decoration, exhibition, or commercial Create pen-and-paper images to be scanned, edited, coloured, textured, or animated by computer Draw detailed or technical illustrations Develop briefings, brochures, multimedia presentations, web pages, promotional products, technical illustrations, and computer artwork for use in products, technical manuals, literature, newsletters, and slide shows Create computer-generated graphics or animation. Use models to simulate the behaviour of animated objects in the finished sequence Create computer-generated graphics or animation Create and install special effects as required by the script, mixing chemicals and fabricating needed parts from wood, metal Construct distinctive physical objects for artistic, functional, or commercial Convert real objects to animated objects through modelling, using techniques such as optical scanning Communicating with people outside the organization II) Person Specific a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent education and related training in computer and/or traditional animation, graphic design, or film, degree or certificate in computer animation, fine arts, graphic design, or related field Strong animation skills and an eye for composition, experience , proficiency with specific animation platforms Understanding of animation, storytelling, and character development techniques Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction. Ability to work independently or with a team to develop animations and solve problems Demonstrated proficiency in applicable computer applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Character Animator, Audition, Premiere, or similar tools.
