Our India location The Kochi office specializes in Automotive Electronics, focusing on the development of autonomous, electric, and connected vehicles for the future. As a strategic development partner, we assist our clients throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial development and system integration to after-sales support. Additionally, we provide innovative tooling solutions, including HIL systems and cloud-based test infrastructures. We are looking for Android Automotive OS Developers to join our teams in Kochi, India. As a member of our in-tech team, you will work with experienced engineers from different countries and the latest technology every day. Responsibilities Develop and customize applications for the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) platform. Integrate Google Automotive Services (GAS) into the AAOS environment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AAOS and GAS. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces. Work with automotive hardware and software teams to optimize system performance. Ensure the security and reliability of the automotive applications. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Android and automotive technologies. Requirements Proven experience with 5+ years in Android development with a strong understanding of Android SDK. Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) development is a mandate. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Kotlin. Familiarity with Google Automotive Services (GAS) and its integration will be an added advantage. Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, MOST). Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar. Knowledge of vehicle infotainment systems and automotive industry standards. Experience with other automotive operating systems is required. Knowledge of cloud services and IoT integration in automotive environments. Experience with agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
