- Overview The NestJS + AWS + Postgres Developer plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable and reliable applications within our organization. This position requires a deep understanding of modern server-side development techniques, cloud infrastructure, and database management. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, data-driven applications that leverage NestJS as the framework, AWS for cloud services, and PostgreSQL for data storage. As a key member of our development team, the successful candidate will help advance our organizational goals through innovative solutions that enhance user experience, improve performance, and streamline operations. With technology continuously evolving, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices is essential to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge and effective. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable applications using NestJS framework. Design and implement RESTful APIs that are efficient and secure. Leverage AWS services for deploying and managing applications in the cloud. Optimize PostgreSQL database for maximum performance and reliability. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement microservices architecture to enhance system modularity. Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality. Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning. Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring application reliability. Stay updated on the latest technologies and software development practices. Document system designs and architecture for future reference. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Implement security best practices to safeguard applications and data. Collaborate with DevOps for continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in developing applications using NestJS framework. Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database and SQL queries. Proficiency in modern programming languages, particularly TypeScript. Experience with REST API design and development. Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns. Understanding of version control systems, especially Git. Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working in Agile development environments. Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of security best practices in web applications. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
