About The Job We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer (SE) specializing in Duck Creek Claims center for a QA role, with a strong background in Agile methodology and exposure to BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will play an important role in ensuring the quality and performance of Duck Creek Claims implementations while leading QA activities in an Agile environment. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging automation tools and BDD practices to streamline the testing process and ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities Duck Creek Claims Center Expertise: Conduct end-to-end functional testing of Duck Creek Policy Center implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Validate configuration changes, integrations, and system functionalities within the Claims Center module. Collaborate closely with development, product owners, and business analysts in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Define and estimate QA tasks within Agile sprints, ensuring proper test coverage and prioritization. Requirements Experience in Duck Creek Policy Center: Strong understanding of the Duck Creek platform, particularly the Policy Center module. Agile Methodology: Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies with experience in participating in Agile ceremonies. Test Management Tools: Proficient in tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for test case management and defect tracking. CI/CD Experience: Exposure to integrating automated tests in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Manual Testing: Solid understanding of manual testing processes for functional, integration, and regression testing. PAS Testing: Experience with COTS applications like Duckcreek, Guidewire, Majesco Leadership: Ability to lead QA initiatives and work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Good to Have: Design and implement automated test cases for Duck Creek policy Center using BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow). Work with Selenium/WebDriver, Cucumber, or other tools to automate regression and functional test cases. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins or Azure DevOps). Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements. Execute manual and automated tests for functional, regression, and integration testing. Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. Collaboration & Communication Act as a bridge between development teams and QA to identify areas for test automation and process improvement. Collaborate with the product and development teams to continuously improve quality assurance practices within Agile processes. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QA team members, particularly in test automation and Agile methodologies. Lead test automation efforts and recommend improvements to the testing process, leveraging industry best practices.
