    Overview The IBDP Mathematics Teacher plays a critical role in shaping the academic journey of students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. This position is vital for fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics among students in a challenging and supportive educational environment. The teacher will be responsible for implementing the IB curriculum effectively, ensuring that students develop the necessary skills to analyze and solve complex mathematical problems. With an emphasis on inquiry-based learning, the IBDP Mathematics Teacher will facilitate classroom discussions, inspire a love for mathematics, and encourage students to think critically. Furthermore, this role requires a commitment to professional development and collaboration with colleagues to enhance teaching practices. The successful candidate will possess not only a strong mathematical background but also the ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Key Responsibilities Must have 3+ Years of experience as IBDP Mathematics Teacher Teach mathematics courses as per the IBDP curriculum standards. Develop innovative and engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to foster student understanding. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments and exams. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students. Provide individualized support and feedback to help students achieve their academic goals. Collaborate with fellow educators to align teaching practices and share resources. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences. Facilitate group discussions and projects to promote teamwork and collaboration. Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational trends. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress. Attend school meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and development. Prepare students for the IBDP examinations through targeted instruction and review. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education (Master's preferred). Teaching certification or licensure appropriate for secondary education. Experience teaching mathematics at the high school level, preferably in an IB setting. Strong knowledge of IBDP curriculum and assessment practices. Proven ability to develop engaging and differentiated lesson plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience in classroom management and student engagement. Understanding of diverse learning styles and needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team. Experience with technology in education, including educational software and tools. Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility and adaptability to changing educational practices. Passion for mathematics and teaching. Previous involvement in professional development related to mathematics education. Willingness to participate in school activities and community initiatives.
