Job Description

    Position Title: Business Head (Green Energy)

    Location: Rajkot (Gujarat)

    Role Overview:  You will take the helm in guiding the organization towards achieving its strategic objectives. You will be responsible for steering the company's overall direction, overseeing daily operations, managing financial health, and optimizing all departments vital for organizational success. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving sustainable growth, fostering a positive company culture, and ensuring operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors to align the organization with its core mission and vision.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership:

    • Formulate and lead the organizations long-term vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
    • Design and execute business strategies aimed at boosting growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
    • Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and assess risks to enhance the organizations market position.
    • Spearhead domestic and international market expansion initiatives.

    Operational Management:

    • Oversee the organizations day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
    • Maintain high levels of productivity, quality, and efficiency across all departments including Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in operational processes and technology.
    • Mitigate risk by instituting effective policies and procedures throughout the organization.

    Financial Stewardship:

    • Supervise the organizations financial planning, budgeting, and resource management to ensure financial objectives are met.
    • Collaborate with the CFO to ensure financial stability, profitability, and cost control measures are in place.
    • Uphold legal, tax, and compliance standards while promoting revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
    • Lead investment and capital allocation decisions to support strategic business expansion.

    Human Resources & Organizational Culture:

    • Develop strategies to cultivate a high performing, engaged, and motivated workforce.
    • Encourage a positive workplace culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and employee growth.
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the company.
    • Partner with HR to attract, retain, and nurture top-tier talent through robust training and development programs.

    Governance & Compliance:

    • Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and the executive team.
    • Provide regular updates to the Board regarding financial performance, operational metrics, and strategic initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
    • Promote transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in all organizational dealings.

    Stakeholder & Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, clients, suppliers, and strategic partners.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance visibility and reputation.
    • Advocate for the company's interests while engaging with policymakers, industry regulators, and community leaders.

    Required Experience:

    • Extensive experience managing diverse functions including Operations, HR, Finance, and Sales within large-scale organizations, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
    • Proven expertise in scaling operations, driving revenue growth, and managing P&L responsibilities.
    • Track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional, and international projects.

    Required Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of business operations, financial management, and human resources strategies.
    • Proficiency in operational technologies, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.
