Job Description
- Role As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure on Cloud Platform. You will work closely with our Product leadership team to streamline our deployment processes, improve system reliability, and ensure our applications are secure, scalable, and efficient. Key responsibilities Develop server side cloud functions Develop, setup and maintain administrative portal for custom user account and preferences management To automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources (including dockerized analytic engines) CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, implement, and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable fast and reliable software delivery Cloud Management: Manage and monitor cloud resources on Google Cloud Platform, including virtual machines, containers (GKE), storage, and networking components, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency. Hybrid Cloud Integration: Design and manage the integration of hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and interoperability between on-premises systems and GCP. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud platform, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and vulnerability assessments. Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of services. Collaboration: Work closely with the product leadership team to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, promoting a culture of automation and continuous improvement. Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss in case of incidents. Requirements : Experience: 6+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or similar role with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). AWS experience is nice to have. Skills: Fullstack Engineer for Web/Mobile app development - Proficiency in scripting languages such as React, Python, Bash, and Go. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration Tools: Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments. Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integration. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
