Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Shopify Developer to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a pivotal role in developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance Shopify e-commerce solutions for our diverse clientele. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Shopify platform, along with your strong programming skills, to create exceptional online shopping experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our e-commerce projects. Responsibilities Shopify Development & Customization : Develop and implement custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Customize existing themes and applications to meet specific client requirements. Build and maintain custom Shopify apps to extend platform functionality. Implement and configure third-party Shopify apps. Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. E-commerce Implementation & Optimization Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and SEO. Implement and manage A/B testing to improve conversion rates. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores. API Integration & Development Integrate Shopify with third-party APIs for various functionalities (e.g., CRM, ERP, marketing automation). Develop custom API integrations to connect Shopify with external systems. Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional Shopify stores. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects. - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Maintenance & Support Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing Shopify stores. Implement security best practices and ensure data integrity. Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify platform updates and industry trends. Debug and solve complex issues. Qualifications Technical Skills : Extensive experience with Shopify development, customization, and maintenance. Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and applications. Experience with Shopify API integration and app development. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs. Problem-Solving & Communication Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in Shopify development. - Preferred Qualifications : Experience with UX/UI design principles. Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce. Experience with other ecommerce platforms. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. (ref:hirist.tech),
