We deliver Happy Authors and Happy Employees. Accessibility EPUB Specialist Job Description We are looking for an Accessibility EPUB Specialist to join our innovative team. The candidate should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality. They should be able to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure accessibility compliance and customer satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities Strong knowledge of EPUB accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508, EPUB 3) Experience in remediating EPUB files for accessibility compliance Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and ARIA for accessible EPUB development Knowledge of metadata, navigation, and semantic structuring for EPUB Experience with accessibility testing tools (Ace, DAISY, NVDA, VoiceOver) Familiarity with alt text descriptions, EPUB reading systems, and screen readers Understanding of accessible EPUB creation from Word, PDF, and XML inputs Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and regulations for publishing Knowledge in MathML Hands-on experience in handling both book and journal XML Knowledge in XML editors (Epsilon, Oxygen XML, Notepad++, etc.) Job Information Department Name Publishing Services Date Opened 10/22/2024 Job Type Full time Industry E-Publishing City Chennai State/Province Tamil Nadu Country India Zip/Postal Code 600032,
