Job Description
- Role would look after end to end IT Infrastructure & Operations management with team of on-payroll people and 3rd party/vendor payroll people reporting into him/her.
- Candidate would be responsible for driving IT Infra Operations Strategy roadmap for organization
- This role will manage the outsources managed services contracts and IT teams to provide services for Cloud, Enterprise Infrastructure, SAP & Non SAP Applications.
- Candidate would be responsible for working closely with Management team and suggest best, cost effective and business efficient technology to maintain high business performance.
- Continuously works to improve the infrastructure architecture and integration of various elements to keep environment relevant to market needs.
- Role works closely with Cross functional business heads/functional heads to understand the requirement or gap and thereby suggest best solution through proper service
- Ensure ITIL standards and processes are followed by all support teams and partners. Custodian of ITIL toolset, standards and processes.
- Works on IT Operations and Infrastructure budget. Also, takes care of external contracts and vendor management for service providers.
- Manages and maintains day to day IT operations with a structured, process-oriented approach cantered on a responsive Help Desk, support personnel and vendor services across Infrastructure & Application Landscape.
- Develops disaster recovery plans for business critical application, infrastructure, services, tests and measures in conjunction with applications and other service providers that support business continuity plans for critical business applications and services.
- Apart from providing technology leadership, this role will also manage third party contracts and engagement for Infrastructure & Operations .
