- Job Title: CCNA Network Engineer / Network Administrator / Network Support Engineer Job Summary: A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is responsible for installing, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. This role involves working with routers, switches, firewalls, and network security to ensure seamless communication within an organization. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. Set up and manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Implement VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP. Diagnose and resolve network performance issues. Monitor network traffic and ensure minimal downtime. Provide technical support for end-users and resolve connectivity problems. Implement security protocols, access controls, and firewall rules. Configure VPNs for secure remote access. Perform network performance tuning and upgrades. Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and documentation. Generate reports on network health, incidents, and security breaches. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred). Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (Required). Additional certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or CompTIA Network+ (a plus). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and subnetting. Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and PRTG. Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud - preferred). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
