- Exp: 15+ years Location: Bangalore Mode: Work from office We are a rapidly growing technology company specializing in solutions for commercial and consumer loan origination, loan servicing, and deposit account opening. Leveraging advanced integrations, analytical insights, generative AI, and machine learning models, we deliver innovative and seamless experiences. Our core technology stack includes AWS, Java, Node.js, React.js, AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and large language models (LLMs). Role Overview: As the VP of Engineering, you will be responsible for all technology and engineering functions, overseeing product development, engineering strategy, and technical leadership. This role will be instrumental in shaping our technical roadmap, driving innovation, and scaling engineering operations. This is a high-impact position requiring a mix of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic vision to support our rapid growth. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership: Define and lead the engineering strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on scaling, innovation, and quality. - Technologist: Strong engineering and technology background with the ability to learn quickly and go deep into our product and engineering solutions - Lead, manage and grow multiple teams software engineers in building services and tools that automate governance and compliance requirements, and lead improving the developer experience - Work to modernize our existing tech stacks - Collaborate with internal teams to find areas of opportunities for automation and machine learning. - Technical Roadmap: Collaborate with executive leadership to define the product and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities. - Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and retain a world-class engineering team. Foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance. - Product Development & Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable solutions for loan origination, servicing, deposit accounts, and other core products. - AI & Machine Learning Innovation: Drive the development and integration of Gen AI capabilities, machine learning models, and LLMs to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency. - Technology Stack Ownership: Lead architecture decisions and tech stack optimization, leveraging AWS, Java, Node.js, React.js, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and other technologies in our stack. - Quality & Performance Standards: Implement best practices in software development, quality assurance, and DevOps to maintain high standards of performance, security, and reliability. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure alignment across functions and successful delivery of initiatives. - Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all systems and processes adhere to regulatory standards, particularly in banking and finance, mitigating risks related to data security, privacy, and compliance. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: 15+ years in engineering leadership, preferably within fintech, banking, or related industries. - Leadership: Proven success in managing large engineering teams and scaling technology organizations effectively. - Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Java, Node.js, React.js, AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and machine learning frameworks. - Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services. - Skills: Excellent in communication, decision-making, and strategic thinking. - Leadership Style: Collaborative and inclusive, with a passion for mentoring and fostering team development.,
