Job Description
- As a wordpress frontend developer you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that are visible on our wordpress website. You will work with a UI/UX Designer and be responsible for the translation of UI/UX design wireframes and mockups to actual code. To be successful in this role, you will have experience with wordpress UI design and wireframing tools as well as excellent coding skills with web development languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). You will have a strong, holistic approach to solving the problems we face on our website, and work with the rest of the team to come up with creative solutions for it. Responsibilities: Code and Implement interactive designs based on Figma prototypes and wireframes created by a UX/UI Designer. Develop new user facing features. Write reusable code, libraries and wireframe templates for Landing Pages hosted on wordpress. Enhance the speed and scalability of the websites performance. Conduct UI Testing and QA. Track and document issues. Develop and upkeep mobile compatibility features. General website maintenance and optimization. Implement user security and privacy best practices to be compliant with Rentlys legal protocols. Rently is an ISO 27001 and 27701 and SOC2 certified company, so all employees need to understand the responsibilities and adhere by Rently Policies & Procedures. Required Skills: 2 - 4 years experience in Wordpress Proven experience with frontend development technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Fluency in user-centered design principles and techniques. Comprehensive understanding of Digital Marketing. Basic Web design and development principles. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Github. Good understanding of SEO.
