Responsibilities Participate in the complete software development lifecycle starting from analysis, architecture, design, coding, unit integration, and system testing of software. Develop high-quality code to meet customer requirements. Must be able to troubleshoot, identify root cause and implement effective solutions. Conduct peer review of code changes made by team. Create and maintain technical documentation for the codebase, APIs, and development processes. Provide ongoing sustaining support to the product, addressing end to end feature enhancements. Plan, organize, and execute assignments with very little or moderate supervision. Present work to customer for review or other purposes. Other responsibilities as assigned by the customer/management from time to time. Requirements Must Have: 5+ Years hands-on experience as a full stack Java developer. Strong hands-on coding experience in Java programming language. Experience in frameworks like: React JS, Spring boot, Spring MVC, Angular, Node.js, and Java Spring. Experience in developing and consuming SOAP / RESTful APIs. Experience in database development using SQL Server / MySQL/ Oracle PL/SQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB. Experience in software development tools e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git, SVN, Jenkins. Experience in deployment process, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Strong exception/error handling, debugging and optimization skills. Experience in unit, integration, system, and regression testing. Ability to work in an agile development environment. Must demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate positive mindset to learn new technologies. Good to Have: Insurance domain knowledge is a plus. Prior experience in working on micro services and APIs. Prior experience in Build Management, Configuration & Release Management. Prior experience in integration with Salesforce for extending/customizing CRM capabilities. Prior experience and interest in designing and building solutions using cloud platform such as Azure, AWS or GCP. Prior experience and interest in container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes etc. Understanding of any integration/middleware tools like MuleSoft, ESB Implementations and API Gateways Familiarity with message queuing technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
