Job Description
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with Pega expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading projects that design, develop, and optimize business processes across various Pega platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring the alignment of business and technical requirements through effective leadership and technical prowess.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects to design, develop, and optimize business processes using deep technical knowledge of the Pega platform
- Use awareness of best practices to review solution requests and designs, aligning with the future vision of Pega
- Develop repeatable design and implementation methodologies based on Pega based on functional requirements
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, IT, and business teams to refine and correct business process automation requirements
- Troubleshoot technical issues alongside Business, IT, and Client Technical Teams
- Define, develop, document, and maintain governance standards for Pega usage
- Stay well-versed with Pega concepts and technology roadmap, and make recommendations for its future development
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team to align corporate-wide settings/configurations with business requirements
- Suggest alternatives to custom solutions to leverage Pega out-of-the-box solutions
- Create user acceptance testing and performance testing plans to validate customizations, features, and functionalities
- Review Pega designs for existing and new applications to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to design guidelines
- Communicate work status effectively and in a timely manner with team members
- Pega Senior Systems Architect Certification required
- 8+ years of experience in Pega implementations and designing Pega applications
- 4+ years of experience in full lifecycle delivery of complex systems including requirements, design, build, test, and deployment/delivery
- Deep understanding of Pega including experience with Pega PRPC version X platform
- Strong experience in leading inception and elaboration exercises defining PRPC solutions for complex business requirements
- Demonstrated experience technically leading the development of sizable Pega solutions
- Proficiency in process methodology and development methodologies including Agile and Iterative, strongly preferred
- Confident in problem-solving and communication
- Strong attention to detail and resourcefulness with the capability to adapt to new information and shift timelines
- Deep expertise in managing budgets and reassessing processes essential for high volume, mission-critical applications
