Job Description
- As an Automation Test Engineer, you will develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Your role involves creating and executing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. You will analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues effectively.
- Designing comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on requirements and user stories will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will integrate automated test scripts with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and maintain quality standards across the software lifecycle.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align on quality goals and testing strategies. You will optimize and enhance existing automation frameworks to support new features and improve performance.
- Responsibilities also include documenting test plans, procedures, and results for effective stakeholder communication and conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- To excel, you must have proficiency in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver, along with a strong understanding of automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab, API testing tools like RestAssured, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is crucial.
- Strong debugging skills and familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and processes are also essential.
